Why the Gap Exists at All?
Nobody designed this deliberately. Three separate constraints land on the same group. Engineering cannot be delivered fully online, so every legitimate route demands physical attendance somewhere. The Entry Gate Is Genuinely Higher

- Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, BITS Pilani WILP: requires a technical diploma or B.Sc. with at least 60 per cent, plus a minimum of two years of experience in construction related domains.
- Smart Manufacturing, same institution: requires the same academic threshold but only six months of relevant experience.
- Eligible diplomas for civil: civil, mechanical or electrical, so the pool is broad even though the experience bar is not.

Why Site Work Resists Remote Delivery?
