Approvals

• The institution has received recognition from the National Institute for Importance under the purview of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
• IIM Ranchi holds accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is also accredited by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), World Education Services (WES), and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). 
• On August 27, 2009, the Union Cabinet authorized the creation of six new IIMs, which included IIM Ranchi.

EMI and Scholarships 

• EMI option is available for courses offered by IIM Ranchi. The institute provides the EMI option for both online and offline courses, making it easier for students to manage their finances while pursuing quality education. However, specific terms and conditions of the EMI option may vary with courses. 
• IIM Ranchi provides an array of scholarship opportunities in collaboration with numerous Departments and Ministries within the Government of India, maintaining an elevated level of formality.

Admission Process:

• Visit the IIM Ranchi official website and enter all necessary information in the application form, attach mandatory documents to it and submit this form online.
• Before you apply for online courses offered by IIM Ranchi it would be preferable to review its eligibility standards since the university could request minimum required educational qualifications and other requirements specific to a program.
• Some more steps may also be requested by the university based on the program selected. This includes written aptitude tests or program-specific testing and interviews.
• After getting shortlisted, you will have to pay the program fee forthwith for confirmation of your admission.
• Download the confirmation letter sent by the university and save your personalised login credentials for future use.

Examination Pattern

The evaluation process relies on the overall outcomes of multiple evaluations, which get assigned to students in between classes. Generally, online assessments consist of multiple-choice or descriptive questions. Additionally, project and assignment evaluations assess students' understanding and problem-solving skills. The university also conducts online term-end tests in AI- proctored mode apart from these internal assessment programs.
